The unbreakable Obsidian

Duessel is under the protection of his weapon's fell magic.

Effective weaponry and status effects will be no good against him in this state.

His spear also has the reaver effect and hits resistance instead of defense.

On the other hand, even though he looks like one, he's not actually a general.

This means you don't have to worry about Great Shield. Silver linings...
